Israel's Religious Leaders Don't Have A Clue

Israel's Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, who is supposed to be a kabbalist and should therefore have a much higher knowledge of how things work in the world, is saying that Katrina was US President George Bush's punishment for supporting the pullout from Gaza.

Hey we're almost in 2006 - this old and tired religious propoganda hype just isn't going to cut it anymore. You can see that things keep deteriorating everywhere.

The facts according to Kabbalist & Scientist Rav Michael Laitman are that Israel has only itself to blame - things are going to get worse in the world as long as we put off the major and very complicated task of correcting ourselves. The whole world is waiting for us to get our act together.

Saying that group A is being punished for something it did to group B - do you have any idea how primitive that is? The only way we can control our future is by researching the upper world. My husband gets up and goes to the Bnei Baruch center at 3:00AM every morning to do that with thousands of other people around the world in the live broadcasts that are also featured throughout the day on Israel television.

In yesterday's morning lesson (minute 16:50) Rav Laitman talked about why Jewish people are smarter and better at taking advantage of other people (yup! that's us). He explained that the more developed the attribute of Bina (bestowal) is in a person, he is more developed and knows how to use others.  Where are the Jews smart from? - from this very high level bonding of Bina inside Malchut (the vessel - that's us) - because we were at the level of Bina before the destruction of the temple and then we fell. This bonding is better or "worse" than others and that is the reason why our correction can cause the correction of the entire world.  These things are engraved inside of man.

Even NASA Scientists Can't Figure Out What's Going On In The World

You know something really big must be going on behind the scenes if even NASA scientists are puzzled about what the heck is going on in this world??  Apparently the abnormal composition of this comet is particularly perplexing at the moment.

I think it's safe to say that there will be a lot more things puzzling our top scientists in the coming months and years.  As the spirituality of mankind progresses, meaning what happens inside of us, we will begin to see the results of these collective internal changes in the world around us.

The only Kabbalist & Scientist in the world, Rav Michael Laitman talks about the science crisis:

Kabbalah: Today's Science Crisis

Question: What exactly is this science crisis everyone is talking about today?

Answer by Kabbalist & Scientist Rav Michael Laitman, PhD:

I wouldn't say that science is in crisis, this is probably what a person not involved in science imagines - that science has come to an end – no, science keeps developing. So many new things, and opportunities emerging around us – this is all the result of scientific development.

Science is in crisis because OUR hopes that it will save civilization has crashed into pieces. I remember how as a child I was convinced that the exploration of space, of other planets, development of new technologies, etc., will make our world and man happy. We praised science as a redeemer of humanity. Today everyone sees that it does not bring happiness. So we start to criticize science.

Gradually it's becoming clear that this question, this appeal to science has nothing to do with it – what we are dealing here is not fulfillment of our life with all sorts of comfortable innovations – this question deals with the meaning of life. Science is not called to answer this question to begin with.

I also used to think this way and hoped to discover the secret of the meaning of life through science. I got disappointed in science, then realized that my demands for science are invalid, after which I started to search for the field of knowledge that would answer this question.

Because the question about the meaning of life covers our states preceding our birth (where are we from) and after our death (where do we go to, what's the meaning of passed years), which are not studied by the sciences of this world, basically, there is no crisis in science. What is in crisis – is our understanding that nothing in this world will give us an answer to the question about the meaning of life. And there is no way for us to forget and let go of this question.

Today, the second most spread illness in the world – depression. The biggest losses – come from drugs. Humanity must find an answer why it exists. Meaningless life brings forward aggression, terror (imaginable ideals and goals), and unpredictability.

The solution to this question – is the revelation of the science about the Upper World – Kabbalah - to humanity at large. Kabbalah researches the Upper World, which is where we exist before we are born into this world and after we leave it. That's why Kabbalah answers the question about the meaning of our existence here, about our existence in the Upper Worlds, and about the entire Universe and its Creator.
